Marketing/Business Development Professional is a new travel platform offering classroom without walls experiences to intellectually curious travelers. Many of these experiences can also be leveraged for corporate functions

Job Description and Requirements: 

We are looking for an energetic, dynamic and results oriented doer to join an early stage start-up to launch a "classroom without walls" concept in the travel-tech space.

Responsibilities include:
• Researching service provider leads and managing acquisition database
• Developing a sales and marketing plan with the CEO to target potential corporate clients
• Contacting potential clients, attending meetings (at times with the CEO) and subsequent follow up
• Working closely with web product strategist to roll out a launch campaign including social media, content marketing, and digital marketing
• Tracking and analyzing campaign results
• Supporting marketing campaigns with follow up communications and timely responses to questions
• Testing web application for good user experience and functionalities
• Supporting service providers with the on boarding process such as uploading personal information and reviewing images and videos
• Designing and implementing the user and service provider satisfaction surveys
• Working on other projects as directed by the CEO

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven track record of business development / sales
• Fluency in Chinese strongly desired
• Professional familiarity with the tourism industry or passion for travel
• Contacts in the travel / hospitality / MICE sectors in Asia is a plus

The candidate should be personable, self-motivated, able to work independently, persistent and driven. He or she should also have strong organizational skills with an attention to detail. Experience in technology and the travel industry is a plus.
